These are some great poses to help open.
1. Low lunge opposite hand to front foot under your heart reach back into a twist and pull the back leg in to your glute.
2. Half Saddle variation kind of like a figure 4 without a stem. Make sure the knee that is closed is pointing forward with the ankle outside the hip on the floor.
3. Pigeon with tucked back toe, broaden through the chest and press back through the back heel to extend the front on the hip.
4. King Pigeon! Place your hand that matches the front foot down for support and bend the back knee. Reach back to the inside of the back foot and bend your elbow to pull towards you. Pulse with breath slowly wiggling the forearm down towards the foot to eventually bend the elbow around the foot and reach the back hand towards your chest like a bow and arrow. Lift your opposite arm up as you squeeze your leg bones together, clasp hands on your inhale, exhale soften the legs down and smile. ☺☺☺
